Venice, Verona, Lake Garda and Lake Como – a spectacular week exploring both Lakes in 8 days
Overview
Have you always wanted to explore Lake Como and Lake Garda and tick off that bucket list dream of seeing the sights of Venice whilst sitting on a Gondola? Now, there is nothing stopping you as we have the most spectacular and breathtaking adventure equal measures of bucket list adventures, partying, and relaxing.
This trip includes numerous bucket list locations including Venice, Verona, Lake Garda, Sermione and Lake Como. Each and every one of these destinations are known for their spectacular beauty! Explore the winding canals and striking architecture in Venice before heading to Lake Garda, but not before stopping in Verona to visit the famous Romeo and Juliet balcony.
Venice
Venice is arguably one of the most picturesque cities in Italy, if not Europe. With its winding canals, striking architecture and beautiful bridges, Venice is the perfect destination. Further, the peaceful city has no cars so you need another mode of transportation – think gentle strolls, water taxis and the famous gondolas.
Verona
Enroute to Lake Garda we have a brief stop off to visit Romeo and Juliet’s balcony. The house was once inhabited by the Cappello family and dates back to the 13th century, though the famous balcony wasn’t added until the 20th century. The courtyard boasts a statue of Juliet, and visitors can partake in the popular ritual of rubbing her right breast for luck in love, though she herself had very little.
Lake Garda
This majestic lake could be straight out of a story book. Breathe in the clean mountain air, while looking at the largest lake in Italy. With shorelines stretching over 90 miles, you will undeniably fall in love with exploring the picturesque towns. The towns are set with the unparalleled backdrop of the alps, an undeniably breathtaking view you will not find anywhere else in the world.
Lake Como
Lake Como is known for being home to Hollywood star George Clooney. However celeb-spotting aside, it’s known for jaw-dropping natural beauty, elegant old villas and the scenic towns surrounding the lake. Here, the atmosphere is perfect for paddle boarding on the glass-like lake in the morning, and wind-surfing in the afternoon. Lake Como is truly a lakeside paradise.

FAQ
Which currency must I bring?
Euros
We recommend taking a Monzo card, or a similar alternative.
Is my money protected?
Yes, and you will never lose your money. We also offer 1 free date change before 60 days of your departure date.
Can I bring a friend?
Of course, if you book separately, just let us know you want to share a room. Equally, our adventures are designed as solo trips, so the majority of our travelers will not know each other at the beginning, however we know true friendships will be formed by the end.
Who will I share a room with?
You will more than likely be sharing a room with one or more other Seek adventurers as our accommodation is a mixture of twin, triple or multi-share. The beds will be a mixture of single and double beds and in our experience women are normally happy sharing a double bed. This is so that not only can we keep the cost down for you, but also to provide you with the opportunity of building strong friendships with people that you would not usually cross paths with in your everyday life.
I don’t know anyone else on the group travelling and I am a shy person
We all understand that feeling of being out of your comfort zone and meeting new people for the first time, but don’t forget that everyone you meet on the other side will be in the same position as you. We will add all of our travellers for one trip into a Whatsapp group for you to all ask each other questions and get to know each other before setting off. You will most certainly meet friends for life on your trip because you will all have at least one thing in common… You’re stepping outside your comfort zones and getting out there to see the world!
If we still haven’t answered your question, please fill in the question here (contact us form) or speak to us on the chat button now
Where does the adventure start and finish?
You will fly into either Venice Marco Polo or Venice Trevisio airport.
You will then fly out of Milan. If there are no flights from Milan to your local airport, you can catch a train which is approximately 5 hours to Venice (at your own cost)
How fit do I need to be?
There is a leisurely 30 minute walk to the gondola in Venice, designed specifically to take in the sights of the canals. There is a bicycle ride in Verona however this could be substituted for a taxi ride at your own expense. The rest of your time is ambling through the beautiful villages of the lakes. You should be able enough to wheel your suitcase or carry your backpack from destination to destination. There are two 3 hour train journeys however with the views, the journeys whizzed by.
What type of accommodation is included?
To ensure the trip accommodates budgets, we will be staying in a hostel but don’t worry! You will only be sharing a room with fellow Seek adventurers on your tour and you will be surprised at how little time we actually spend there.

I recently embarked on the Italy Group Tours For Women package with Tide and Seek Travel, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The attention to detail, the camaraderie among travelers, and the beautifully curated experiences made the trip truly unforgettable. As a solo female traveler, I felt both safe and valued. The sights, sounds, and flavors of Italy were enhanced by the expertise of the tour team. Heartfelt thanks to Tide and Seek for crafting such an excellent journey. Highly recommended!
