This tour includes Amsterdam only to ensure that you get to experience the very best of this amazing city in your weekend break!
The tour will be for 3 nights and you will be staying in the same accommodation for the duration of the trip.
The specific activities named within the itinerary are included in the price to ensure you have peace of mind. These include; entry to Anne Frank house, river dinner cruise, entry to Keukenhof gardens, entry to the sex museum and entries to the bars and clubs included on night 2.
Most of the itinerary is within walking distance of the accommodation however we do include transport to and from the Keukenhof gardens.

Overview
Have you always wanted to explore Amsterdam but are too afraid to take the trip by yourself? Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands and for good reason, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. The city is known worldwide for its elaborate canal systems, unique architecture and arched bridges. Not only is the city brimming with culture and history, the 17th Century Canal ring is listed as a UNESCO Heritage Site. Amsterdam is the perfect place to visit as it combines history, beauty and culture. You can spend a lifetime in Amsterdam discovering new beautiful green parks, exciting nightlife and everything in between. You can also spend hours just meandering through the picturesque streets, marveling at the canals and towering townhouses that line them.
Amsterdam is known for its culture and museums, with its rich history echoing through the streets you’ll explore. It is also famous for the breathtaking flowers that bloom throughout the city and of course, its coffee shops. And like any major city, the nightlife is unparalleled!

Day 1 – Welcome to Amsterdam! Settle into your surroundings with a welcome dinner and tour of the local streets
Arrive at Amsterdam Schiphol airport. Your Seek Leader will give you extensive instructions and guidance on how to make your way to the accommodation. We will advise whether there will be other Seek Adventurers arriving on your flight so you can make your way together. Your Seek Leader will meet you at the hotel where you will check in, relax and spend the afternoon getting to know the local area. Once everyone has arrived and settled in, you will meet for a welcome and orientation. Then, travel with your group to the famous sex museum before enjoying your Welcome Dinner and drinks. Here we will get to know each other and start making friends for life! After dinner we will take a stroll to the famous red light district.

Day 2 – Sightseeing and partying
You’ve woken up in Amsterdam baby! Meet the rest of the group downstairs for a hearty breakfast. Embark on a group tour to the Anne Frank museum followed by a free afternoon to explore. Maybe visit the Albert Cuyp flea market or a famous coffee shop. Reconvene with the group for a tasty dinner before experiencing Amsterdam’s brilliant night life through a bar crawl before ending up in one of Amsterdam’s trendiest nightclubs!

Day 3 – Experience the famous Amsterdam tulips in full bloom & Canal Dinner cruise
Wake up and grab some coffee with your breakfast to cure the hangover before heading to Keukenhof gardens to see spectacular floral displays and the famous Netherlands tulips. The flowers will be in full bloom so this is the perfect opportunity to get that gorgeous insta snap! Spend the day basking in the colors and smells before heading back to the hotel to refresh in readiness for a canal boat dinner cruise including pizza and free drinks (yes, including alcohol).

Day 4 – It’s time to say Goodbye
Wake up and enjoy your last complimentary breakfast before heading back to Amsterdam Schipol to fly home. There will be plenty of hugs and exchanging numbers and social media. We can guarantee that although everyone will be arriving as strangers, you will be leaving as friends.

Which currency must I bring?
Euros
We recommend taking a Monzo card, or a similar alternative.
Is my money protected?
Yes, and you will never lose your money. We also offer 1 free date change before 60 days of your departure date.
Can I bring a friend?
Of course, if you book separately, just let us know you want to share a room. Equally, our adventures are designed as solo trips, so the majority of our travelers will not know each other at the beginning, however we know true friendships will be formed by the end.
How fit do I need to be?
Whilst we cater our trips for everyone, Amsterdam is quite a large city and therefore walking will be required. Don’t worry though as walking will be the most exhaustive activity included in this trip, unless you want to count dancing the night away!
Who will I share a room with?
You will more than likely be sharing a room with one or more other Seek adventurers as our accommodation is a mixture of twin, triple or multi-share. The beds will be a mixture of single and double beds and in our experience women are normally happy sharing a double bed. This is so that not only can we keep the cost down for you, but also to provide you with the opportunity of building strong friendships with people that you would not usually cross paths with in your everyday life.
I don’t know anyone else on the group travelling and I am a shy person
We all understand that feeling of being out of your comfort zone and meeting new people for the first time, but don’t forget that everyone you meet on the other side will be in the same position as you. We will add all of our travellers for one trip into a Whatsapp group for you to all ask each other questions and get to know each other before setting off. You will most certainly meet friends for life on your trip because you will all have at least one thing in common… You’re stepping outside your comfort zones and getting out there to see the world!

Where does the adventure start and finish?
Fly in and out of Amsterdam Schipol Airport. If you would like to travel further, we can assist you in onward travel. Amsterdam is a great place to start for travelling Europe. Maybe some of your fellow Seek Adventurers would like to spend a couple of days exploring that part of Europe too!
What type of accommodation is included ?
To ensure the trip accommodates budgets, we will be staying in a hostel but don’t worry! You will only be sharing a room with fellow Seek adventurers on your tour and you will be surprised at how little time we actually spend there.
