Overview
Have you yearned to try yoga and meditation but never had the confidence to go on your own? Do you practice yoga at home but would love to spend a weekend with like-minded women? We are providing the perfect solution for you which incorporates sun (hopefully), daily yoga and meditation, and a special gift of a sound bath. Escape the humdrum of modern life, embrace a new way of living, and be guided back into balance all whilst sharing this journey with a special group of ladies. Spend the weekend with us to restore your energy and wellbeing. We will help you re-find your balance. A weekend of yoga, meditation, mindfulness, relationship wellbeing, nature, joy, laughter, and contemplation. This will be a truly special weekend.
We will have yoga and meditation sessions every day, led by experienced leaders with the added benefit of a sound bath. The classes are a true escape from reality where you can get in tune with your body and just remember to stretch and breathe.
This experience is designed to push you out of your comfort zone in a new and beautiful location. You’ll spend time with some unfamiliar faces who are somewhat similar to you, each trying to break away from daily life. It’s natural to feel apprehensions about the unknown of a yoga and meditation holiday. Yet, the best thing to do is go with an open mind and embrace all the changes and challenges. This is a great opportunity to meet and make new and maybe lifelong friends and also spend time with yourself working on your inner well-being.
The core of the group classes revolves around the authentic wisdom of yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditation that will greatly benefit your body, mind, and soul.
Whilst it is not compulsory we would urge you to detox digitally by indulging in soul satisfying activities where you won’t find the urge to look at a mobile or a gadget. It is a great time to disconnect from the artificial world and to connect with the real world.
The experience and knowledge gained with your time spent with us will give you the tools and skills to continue a healthy yogic lifestyle for a lifetime (if you want to). This could potentially be the starting pathway to long term holistic health and wellness.
This trip is different to our other adventures as we will tailor the experience to those who are attending. It will also be dependent on the yoga experience of the group, so will be split and organised accordingly. Do not worry, while it is designed to push you out of your comfort zone, we will always work within your personal boundaries.
Secure your place
Day 1 – Arrive at our beautiful accommodation exclusively used by our group for the duration
On the first day, you will fly into Faro. We can organise a taxi for you or you can arrange your own transportation to the accommodation. Check in is from 3pm.
After your warm welcome, you will be shown your room and given time to settle in. Then at 5pm we will have our first group meeting where we will outline what is going to happen in the following days followed by our first yoga session at 6pm followed by a plant based dinner.

Day 2 – Morning Yoga, Meditation and Sound Bath, evening Yoga
After helping yourself to breakfast, we start our day with yoga and meditation at 9am. This will be followed by a sound bath. The rest of the day is yours to relax, read, time to reflect on the hammock or simply get to know yourself and/or others by the pool. Alternatively explore the grounds and go for a walk.
Evening yoga will commence at 6pm followed by home cooked pizzas for dinner

Day 3 – Morning Yoga and Meditation, evening Yoga and dinner in a local restaurant
After helping yourself to breakfast, we start our day with yoga and meditation at 9am. The rest of the day is yours to yourself. We can organise a taxi to the beach which is only 6 miles away or take the opportunity to completely relax in your surroundings.
Evening yoga will be at 6pm followed by dinner in a local restaurant which is within walking distance.

Day 4 -Morning Yoga and Meditation, farewell dinner onsite especially catered for us
After helping yourself to breakfast, we start our day with yoga and meditation at 9am. The rest of the day is yours to yourself. We can organise onsite massages or reflexology or simply explore your surroundings with a stroll in the countryside. If the weather permits, spend the day at the pool with your best seller or favourite podcast. Evening yoga will be at 6pm followed by dinner cooked for us by our inhouse chef.

Day 5 – Time to say goodbye
Unfortunately, this will be your departure day after breakfast. You will exchange Instagrams, phone numbers, and hugs with your new friends. Your Seek Leader will help you get to Faro airport for your flight home or give you recommendations if you wish to continue your journey of the Algarve.

Which currency must I bring?
Euros
We recommend taking a Monzo card, or a similar alternative.
Is my money protected?
Yes, and you will never lose your money. We also offer 1 free date change before 60 days of your departure date.
Can I bring a friend?
Of course, if you book separately, just let us know you want to share a room. Equally, our adventures are designed as solo trips, so the majority of our travelers will not know each other at the beginning, however we know true friendships will be formed by the end.
Who will I share a room with?
You will more than likely be sharing a room with one or more other Seek adventurers as our accommodation is a mixture of twin, triple or multi-share. The beds will be a mixture of single and double beds and in our experience women are normally happy sharing a double bed. This is so that not only can we keep the cost down for you, but also to provide you with the opportunity of building strong friendships with people that you would not usually cross paths with in your everyday life.
I don’t know anyone else on the group travelling and I am a shy person
We all understand that feeling of being out of your comfort zone and meeting new people for the first time, but don’t forget that everyone you meet on the other side will be in the same position as you. We will add all of our travellers for one trip into a Whatsapp group for you to all ask each other questions and get to know each other before setting off. You will most certainly meet friends for life on your trip because you will all have at least one thing in common… You’re stepping outside your comfort zones and getting out there to see the world!

What kind of accommodation is included ?
The village sits within 3 acres of land in Southern Algarve, 6 miles from Albufeira, all of which has been distinctively designed and carefully crafted in order to build what is now an exceptional, unique and exclusive holiday destination. This is the perfect retreat located in a beautiful country environment for our Seek travellers to enjoy and make everlasting memories.
We will have Private and Exclusive access to the entire village. The venue really is special and unique where you can relax, enjoy and soak up the sunshine.
The living accommodation consists of:
- 2 x Woody Safari Lodges (Tom & Harry) Each sleep 5 persons.
- 1 x Luxury Chalet (Dick) Sleeping 4 persons.
- 1 x Dreamer Safari Lodge (Presidential Suite) Sleeping up to 6 persons.
The chalet benefits from a small cinema room with a 3D Plasma TV, surround sound and 2x reclining chairs to create ultimate relaxation. All the accommodations contain air conditioning.
Swimming Pool – South facing heated swimming pool benefitting from a large tiled surround, creating perfect sunbathing/entertainment environment with amazing views across the valley.
3 Acres of your own Private Gardens – Across the gardens you will find beautiful plants and many fruit trees such as oranges, limes, pomegranate, olives and much more. The village also even has their own established grape vines.
If you like a bit of bird spotting, then you will not be disappointed with the beautiful array of birds you can spot here in the village, we even have our own birds which you can visit in Chickaletta’s Coup providing us with fresh eggs every day!

Star Gazing Area – With a minimal amount of light pollution and ideal atmospheric conditions, we have created a spectacular star gazing area. I recently had the privilege of participating in Tide and Seek Travel’s Algarve Yoga And Meditation Retreat. The entire experience was soul-nourishing and truly exceptional. Set amidst the stunning backdrop of Algarve, the retreat offered a harmonious blend of rejuvenating yoga sessions and deep meditation, tailored especially for our women-only group.
